A poker script you own and run
Online Poker Script is the software behind your own online poker site. You license Poker Engine, install it on your own server and open the lobby under your own name and domain. Players register, deposit, sit at cash tables and play tournaments, and you run the site from the admin panel.
We wrote it as one platform: the real-time game server, the player website and lobby, the cashier, the tournament engine, bot players, compliance tools and the back office. Because it runs on your servers, your player data and payment keys stay on your infrastructure.

Before you start
What you need to launch
Have these five ready. The deployment guide covers every step, and we can install it for you if you would rather not.
- A server you control, with Docker. The requirements are in the FAQ below.
- A domain for your players. Your licence is tied to it.
- An SSL certificate. A free Let’s Encrypt certificate is enough.
- A payment provider, such as Stripe, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, CoinPayments or bank transfer, unless you run play money only.
- A gaming licence if you take real money, depending on where you operate. Take legal advice for your market.

How do I start my own poker site?
Choose a licence, install Poker Engine on your own server with Docker, then set up payments, tables and tournaments in the admin panel. Our guide to making a poker site covers the rest.
Is Poker Engine self-hosted?
Yes. It runs on your own servers, so player data stays on your infrastructure. There is no SaaS dashboard and no revenue share: you keep 100% of what your tables earn.
How much does Poker Engine cost?
€2.500 a year for Starter, €5.000 a year for Professional with the source code, or €10.000 once for Enterprise with lifetime updates and support. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
What server do I need to run Poker Engine?
At least 2 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM and a 20 GB SSD; 4 cores and 8 GB are recommended once traffic grows. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with Docker Compose is the recommended setup. PostgreSQL 16, Redis 7 and Nginx run as containers.
Do I get the poker source code?
Professional and Enterprise licences include the full TypeScript source code. Starter runs the signed release without source access.
How do you keep the shuffle fair?
Cards are shuffled on the server with a cryptographically secure random generator (Node.js crypto.randomInt()) and the Fisher-Yates algorithm. Players never see or influence the deck.
Where will my first players come from?
From your own marketing: Poker Engine runs your own room, not a shared player network. It gives you the tools to grow one. Bots keep new tables running, agents recruit and manage players for you, and a 10-level affiliate programme, bonuses, promo codes and email campaigns bring players back.
Is running a poker site legal in my country?
That depends on where you operate and who your players are. Many countries require a gaming licence for real-money poker. Poker Engine includes KYC, AML and sanctions tools for licensed operators, and also runs play-money and social poker. Take legal advice before you launch.
Can I add my own features?
Yes, without changing the core. Plugins add API routes, admin and player pages, payment providers and interface components. Professional and Enterprise include the full source code, and we also build custom features.
Which languages does Poker Engine support?
Any. Add a language in the admin panel, translate the player and admin texts, and mark right-to-left languages such as Arabic or Hebrew.
Can you install Poker Engine for me?
Yes. We install and configure Poker Engine on your server as a separate service. Ask us about it when you order.
