Users

Navigate to User Management > Users to manage player accounts, verification status, and security settings.

Overview

The Users Management page lists every account on your site. It shows real money balance, virtual balance, group membership, email verification status, and flags (bot, agent, verified). You can create new accounts, edit existing ones, block/unblock players, force-disconnect them, manually confirm email addresses, and reset two-factor authentication.

Browsing and Filtering Users

The table shows 10 users per page. Use the filter bar to narrow results:

Creating a User

Click Create User in the top-right corner. The form has two tabs:

Basic Tab

  • Username (required) — 3 to 30 characters, letters, numbers, and underscores only
  • Email (required) — must be a valid email address
  • Password (required) — minimum 8 characters
  • First Name, Last Name — optional profile fields
  • Country — optional country field
  • Group (required) — the user group to assign this account to

Settings Tab

  • Account Verified — enable if you want to pre-approve this account for KYC
  • Email Confirmed — enable to skip email verification for this account
  • Bot Account — marks this as an automated bot player
  • Agent Account — grants agent-level access in the hierarchy system

Click Create User to save. The new account appears immediately in the user list.

Editing a User

Click the pencil icon on any user row to open the user drawer in edit mode, or the eye icon (View) to open it read-only. The drawer has Basic, Balances, Settings, Activity, and Balance History sections, plus action buttons for the operations described below.

Password field: Leave blank to keep the current password. Enter a new password (minimum 8 characters) to change it. Changing a user’s password, or moving them to another group, ends that user’s sessions.

The Balances section is read-only. Use its Open balance adjustment link to change a balance. Click Save Changes to apply your edits.

Blocking and Unblocking

Click the lock icon on a user row to toggle their blocked status:

  • Blocking — prevents the user from logging in, rejects their existing sessions, and disconnects them.
  • Unblocking — restores login access.

The icon changes to an open lock on blocked accounts. The status badge in the table switches between "Active" (green) and "Blocked" (red).

Freezing an Account (Fraud Investigation)

Account freezing is a stricter measure than blocking. A frozen account:

  • Cannot log in or use active sessions
  • Cannot play in games
  • Cannot make withdrawals
  • Cannot transfer funds

The admin panel has no freeze button. Freeze and unfreeze through POST /api/v1/admin/users/:userId/freeze and POST /api/v1/admin/users/:userId/unfreeze. Clicking Confirm fraud on a fraud case records the outcome on the case but does not freeze the account by itself. The system automatically sends the player a notification email when their account is frozen or unfrozen.

Freeze actions require the users:edit permission.

Adjusting Balances

Open Finance > Balance Adjustment, or follow Open balance adjustment from the user drawer. Adjustments require your own admin password as a security verification step, and you cannot adjust your own balance.

Adjustment types: ADD or REMOVE Currency options: Real Money (USD), Virtual Chips, Tournament Tickets Reason codes: REFUND, PROMOTION, CORRECTION, COMPENSATION, FRAUD_RECOVERY, OTHER Notes: Optional explanation up to 500 characters

All balance adjustments are recorded in the audit log and appear under Balance History in the user drawer. They require both the users:edit and finance:transactions permissions.

Verifying Email Addresses

If a user’s email is not confirmed (no checkmark next to their email), you can manually confirm it:

  1. Find the user in the list
  2. Click the checkmark icon in the Actions column
  3. The email is marked as confirmed immediately

This action requires the users:verify_email permission. The button only appears for accounts with unconfirmed emails.

Resetting Two-Factor Authentication

If a player loses access to their authenticator app, you can disable their 2FA:

  1. Find the user — the 2FA column shows "Enabled"
  2. Click the shield icon in the Actions column
  3. Confirm in the modal that appears
  4. The player’s 2FA is immediately disabled; they can re-enable it from their profile settings

This requires the users:edit permission. The option only appears for users with 2FA enabled.

Deleting a User

Click the trash icon on a user row. A confirmation modal appears with a warning that this action cannot be undone.

A user seated at a table cannot be deleted through this flow until they leave it. Deletion is permanent. This requires the users:delete permission, which defaults to Super Admin (level a) accounts.

Force Disconnecting a User

Click Force Disconnect (shown as Disconnect on mobile) to revoke the user’s sessions and disconnect their sockets. Tick Also remove from table to force-remove them from any active poker table; their chips are credited back.

This requires the users:manage permission and is not offered for bot accounts.

Bulk Group Assignment

You can move multiple users to a different group in one action:

  1. Select users using the checkboxes in the leftmost column
  2. Use the header checkbox to select all users on the current page
  3. Click Change Group (N) in the top-right once users are selected
  4. Choose the target group from the dropdown
  5. Click Move to Group

When users are moved to a new group, all their active sessions are invalidated and they must log in again. This requires the groups:assign permission.

Viewing User History

User history (transactions, sessions, tournament entries, bonuses, logins) is available through GET /api/v1/admin/users/:userId/history, filtered by the type, startDate, and endDate query parameters. Table sessions are also listed in the panel under Session History.

History types: all, transactions, sessions, tournaments, bonuses, logins

This requires the users:view_history permission.

Registration Approval

Users pending registration approval are listed by GET /api/v1/admin/users/pending (users:list). This page has no pending-registrations section, so use the endpoints:

  • Approve — POST /api/v1/admin/users/:userId/approve
  • Reject — POST /api/v1/admin/users/:userId/reject

Both require the users:edit permission.
